About us

About us

Everything about the Excohk team (that we think you might be interested in).

From writing diary blogs to connecting communities

Excohk began in 2020 as an exhibition diary written by college students, documenting stories that felt deserved more than just a quick "check-in" or a photo-op. The platform was built on the belief that art is something to be truly experienced, not just something to stand in front of for a picture.

As our community grew, so did our perspective. We saw a disconnect where the art world was full of inspiration but often felt out of reach, while businesses were searching for ways to inject real "soul" and energy into what they do. We realized we were actually in a unique position to bridge that gap.

Today, Excohk has evolved into a platform that connects the arts and cultural industry with the public and the commercial sector. We partner with a wide range of public and private institutions to turn marketing “campaigns” into heartful stories, offering expertise in everything from content marketing to event consultancy.

Our mission remains the same. We believe art and culture can bring us together, spark curiosity and encourage thoughtful reflection in everything people do.

Every time I see your posts and stories, along with the interactions from other followers, I really feel your dedication! Even before I followed you, I wished Hong Kong had a media platform that wasn't just superficially telling people where to go for a photo-op—luckily, I discovered your page!

My boss likes your promotion work so much! Will be referring your other opportunities in the future^_^

  • kam***gg (Workshop participant)

The skills and perspectives I learnt after participating in your event can be applied in other areas. I think that's really wonderful!

I've been following you since you first launched this page, and I've read every one of your posts. I truly feel that you are so dedicated, and I can tell that a lot of effort goes into writing each post, which is why I read them all attentively. I already enjoy visiting exhibitions, and my job is actually related to museums, so when I first saw that you not only share exhibition information but also include your own reflections, it really was inspirational for me.

Thank you so much! I was born and raised here, and even I didn't know these places or these stories existed. I immediately shared them with my family after reading your posts, and they were also very moved, saying that they didn't realise Hong Kong still had such places!

I am a participant in the Mapping Tsuen Wan Workshop with Wacom. Thank you for the workshop, it has been very helpful for me as a creator!

Although I haven't been following you for very long, every one of your posts is so heartfelt that it makes me want to discover more of Hong Kong's different aspects, so I can explore various places during the holidays, instead of always going to the same 'photo-op spots' or the same old shopping malls. The event this time is also very appealing! It allows different people to connect and communicate through postcards (as I personally love collecting postcards and stamps!). I hope that after the pandemic is over, everyone can travel and send beautiful postcards!
